Volgende week komen 40 enthousiaste deelnemers uit België en Nederland samen voor de Belgian-Dutch Nuclear Summer School 2026. Tijdens een intensief en gevarieerd programma maken zij kennis met de nucleaire sector, ontmoeten zij experts en professionals en ontdekken zij de vele carrièremogelijkheden binnen de sector.
De Summer School wordt georganiseerd door de Nuclear Academy en de SCK CEN Academy en brengt jong talent, onderwijs en de nucleaire sector samen. Gedurende de week krijgen de deelnemers inzicht in verschillende onderdelen van het nucleaire werkveld en leren zij rechtstreeks van organisaties en experts uit beide landen.
Naast het opdoen van technische en sectorspecifieke kennis is er volop ruimte voor ontmoeting, uitwisseling en netwerken. Door in gesprek te gaan met professionals en andere deelnemers krijgen zij een breed beeld van de nucleaire sector en van de verschillende rollen die zij in de toekomst binnen deze sector kunnen vervullen.

Belgian-Dutch Nuclear Summer School 2026: 40 participants ready to explore the nuclear sector
Next week, 40 enthusiastic participants from Belgium and the Netherlands will come together for the Belgian-Dutch Nuclear Summer School 2026. During an intensive and varied programme, they will discover the nuclear sector, meet experts and professionals, and learn more about the many career opportunities within the industry.
The Summer School is organised by the Nuclear Academy and the SCK CEN Academy and brings together young talent, education and the nuclear sector. Throughout the week, participants will gain insight into different areas of the nuclear field and have the opportunity to learn directly from organisations and experts from both countries.
Alongside gaining technical and sector-specific knowledge, there will be plenty of opportunity for exchange and networking. By meeting professionals and fellow participants, the Summer School gives young people a broad picture of the nuclear sector and the different roles they could play in its future.
